If you elect at Receiving to have your unsold items donated to charity after the sale your check for the 2/3 of the selling price for your sold items will be mailed to you automatically. If you prefer to donate your items but pick up your check, you will need to tell us when dropping off your items.
If you elect at Receiving to pick up your unsold items you will receive a check for the 2/3 of the selling price for your sold items. A volunteer will then escort you to your unsold items. If you would like to donate them, you may leave them in the charity donate area.
Any items left after Pick-up and Pay hours have ended will be donated to charity. (No exceptions.)
If you will be sending someone to pick up your unsold items they must have a note signed by you giving them permission to pick up your check, or you must specify them on your contract at Receiving. If there is no note and they are not specified on your contract, we will mail the check, but they will be allowed to pick up your unsold items.
Christmas Charities is our charity of choice, because they are able to handle large donations and they accomodate the needy free of charge.
Note: We recommend you program a Pick-up and Pay reminder into your cell phone as we are not always able to send email reminders.
